Hey dude, Its a hell of a lot harder than you think to be a christian. I've been one for years and YES you will get people who try and spread the word in rather hurtful ways b/c if we believe what we believe then instead of us spreading a word where we are on one level and you or the "Unbeliever" is on another, it makes you or "the unbeliever" feel like a jackass. Instead, we should spread the word where we are all on the same level. I'm no different than you. So I guess what I'm getting at is when actions are shared, the source of actions is often confused. Words are then said to identify with whom we follow. People who share those words don't want to confuse you or "the unbeliever" with a path they don't necessarily follow so now they just look like a pharisee. The actions that we strive to attain fall REALLY short so when we share and people see us we look like an idiot. I don't even want to get into all the mind games that are played in a church. I don't go to church much but I do have values that I hold. I am also sensitive to the holy spirit God gave us. Anyways ...not a definitive answer but rather a jumble of thoughts, organize/gather them however you wish.

Why are Christians the target of these antagonistic posts? I don't care what you say, I have been watching the questions here for quite a long time, and at least over 90% of anti-rligious questions are aimed at Christians. Why is that? If you think that God is a fairy tale and religion is bad, then why don't you include Jews, Muslims, or Hindus in this question? Well, I know one big reason why: Because Institutions of Higher Learning (what a joke!) have systematically attacked Christianity and indoctrinated their minds-full-of-mush students into believing this garbage. Most of you attackers come out of a post-christian cultural situation in which blaming Christiasnity for everything is acceptable and politically correct. In fact, bigotry against Christians (and especially Catholic Christians) is one of the last acceptable prejudices in America. Insult a homosexual or a Muslim, and you've commited a hate crime. Insult a Christian and you're a hero at UC Berkeley. These attacks are better proof than anything else I kinow of that Christanity is the true religion. Why else would the world attack it so hard?

God doesn't need His actions to be justified nor do any of us have a right to judge His actions. He is the creator of all and He does His bidding according to His Word and commandments.

All people should perform God's actions, whether they think of it in that light or not. Respecting people, helping out, and being charitable are qualities all people should have, not just Christians.
I agree, I think its time that most people stopped giving God lip service and actually doing what we speak of.

I do spread his actions. I try to do that with every person I interact with. And I don't run around "quoting scripture" or being holier than thou.
Blessings be with you.

Good question. There are many Christians who do not follow the example of Christ, and NO Christian follows His example perfectly or 100% of the time.
Ghandi had a quote that I love, "I like your Christ, just not your Christians."
It's good to be reminded of that from time to time.

I assume you are quoting from the Epistle of James in the New Testament - "Be doers of the Word, rather than just hearers of it".
Why is it that whenever I see a "question" that starts out "Christians..." I already know that it's going to be a hostile question??

I notice out of respect that you don't even capitalize the name God. Just what do you mean by actions.

It's a dangerous request, some people have a very weird way of understanding god's actions (some of them killed in the name of god, remember?) you should point out a few things (like love, morality, turning the other cheek) and then it would not be dangerous anymore
