Academy is always better on paper, but a lot more work!
If you want to enjoy the college lifestyle, go ROTC.
Either way will get you there.
Good Luck!

The best is to get accepted to the Naval Academy. Academy graduates get promoted faster and that's a fact.

If becomming a lawyer is more important them going the NROTC route is the better plan.

Academy guys ussually get promoted fast, although I don't think it'd make that much of a difference being Jag. It all really depends on what you want, a very structered enviroment, where you'll have little or no distractions from your academics. Or do want to have a semi-normal college experience, with parties, beer, freedome to come and go as you please. Honestly, I'd go with rotc, either case there's no guarentee that they'll give you jag and send you to law school, atleast if you do rotc, you'd have the option to go to turn down your commission and go to law school school as a civilian if they didn't offer it to you.

From a numbers point of view, the university. The odds of getting into the Naval Academy are incredibly stacked against you. ((Too many applicants, too few openings)
However, you can get into one of many colleges hey your 5 year degreee, law degree, then go Navy. Also, , the naval academy does not have a law school.

I think it is better choice to go university & get your law degree. A certificate is more impt to you right now. All the way JAG officer to be. Salute!

That is a good question. No one can decide that but you. I think that I would take my chances here on American soil. We have plenty going on here, to keep people busy our prisons are coming loose in the seams, because of over load.
