why do men get scared of a relationship?

I have been dating this guy who I love very much and he asked me to be his gf just last Friday and three days later he broke it off with me. We were getting pretty serious and both very much into each other. I am crushed and don't understand why this is happening. He said it is nothing I did he just wants to re-think things....so sad

There's nothing that you can do when he's like that. I think the reason why he wants to "re-think" things, he might have found another girl that he likes. Some boys do that so that the girl won't feel crushed.
