Seems to very very little written about him during his life which seems very strange for a man who could perform miracles? Anyone studying the (lack of) evidence would have to conclude that there is a great chance he didn't even exist?

SO people are admitting that literacy wasn't very good in them days? But we are to believe a book that was penned just after...it is truly laughable

Name ONE. Just ONE. There is NO corroboration of any of the meant parties of "Jesus' existence". The Gospels had been written many years later, through men and women looking to increase the cult, no longer historians or scribes, they usually all disagree at the timeline. Some even instructed the parties occurred as so much a century prior! It's humorous how probably the most distinguished Jewish historian of the time, Josephus, mentions Herd, Pilate, and John the Baptist however NO JESUS. No one else does both, whether or not Jews or Romans or some other supply Jesus definitely did not exist in any respect, child. Sorry, however you ought to post or close up. EDIT @ Dr. Bob- That's humorous, since the contributors of the Jesus Seminar concluded that there's best an 18% danger of there being any old validity within the Gospel bills AT ALL (by no means brain verbatim). Let me let you know some thing approximately scholarly study, sir. It calls for verification. Third-hand bills written many years after the truth through men and women who had been looking to push an schedule is NOT old verification. THAT is why the New Testament bills don't depend as legitimate old bills. They weren't first-hand, they weren't today's, they weren't written through students or historians of any stripe, they usually weren't established wherever else. In different phrases, you declare that it's scholarly to consider that those supposedly unbelievable happenings happened and NOT ONE today's supply (of which there have been many within the field) famous this as even a through-line of their writings? Much much less the whole clean within the Roman files? You, sir, have a humorous proposal of what's scholarly. I am surely blissful that your "Dr." name is definitely an web affectation.

Couldn't disagree more. If you actually tried to look at the evidence instead of trying to prove something you already believe you would realize that people didn't walk around with pens and paper, this was 2000 years ago, most people didn't even know how to write! Paper wasn't easily available to the vast majority of commoners. Things were written down when they had a chance to write them down, remember, they weren't that popular with the powers that be! Good effort though!

A thinker must use the Grey matter they have been given.
A Prophet of God has limitations, set by God.
It was intentionally designed that little of the life of Jesus (PBUH) was recorded.
It is mans responsibility to find out why.
It's in your hands!
The questioner is very bias on the subject!
"The thinker", thinks to much!

Your vision is limited by what you have allowed people to tell you.
The evidence you seek will never be available to you until you are willing to accept it. Jesus' life was well written of in the New Testament by several of the people who travelled with Him. Of course, you probably want some "other" form of evidence, which would come from whom? A long ago atheist? Did they exist back then? I don't know but I do know that, as I have said many times, if a person gives only the slightest opening for God to show Himself, He will. You are allowed to do that and then you have to have an open mind about what you find out and not rely on what people have said about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the church, etc. I would not want you to tell me what my relationship would be like with one of your friends. I would want to explore that relationship myself and see what I learn about that person on my own without any prejudicial statements from you. Does that make sense? It should since you probably deem yourself a rational human being.

Literacy was not widespread at the time, and I doubt that any of Jesus's disciples were able to read or write. There are any number of historical figures about whom we know only from sources that were written after their death.

historians have proven he did exist. the story 'ben-hur' was actuall found when someone was trying to disprove jesus' existance.
they didn't have news back them. even miracles traveled by word of mouth and didn't travel fast.

Actually, there is more evidence of his existence than that of alexander the great, yet we would never deny his existence. There is a tremendous amount of documentary evidence written closer in time to the actual events than any other event on the planet that is older than 500 years.
