Two easy ways:

1. Get rid of junk food in the house and substitute with healthy choices.
2. Add exercise to her day...

The way to do that? Do it with her. Go swimming, go biking, go walking....establish a routine and stick to it.
Adults have a hard time getting motivated to "diet alone" "work out alone" so don't expect it from a child. Do..it..with..her. Make a family life-style change. Otherwise it won't be effective.

Never mind when it will come off. It will come off and stay off if you all change. The point isn't speed of weight loss. Your goal should to be sustain the loss and to sustain the lifestyle. If not, any weight she loses will all rebound and come back double time.

hi first dont force her she may end up eating out of comfort which is worse. There are a few ways which will have her enjoying, go for walks after a meal this burns the fat and the food then becomes energy and helps go to the right places. Sports and playing games, i know this can be hard but swimming is a great way to go, and if you live in the birmingham area it free for children under 16 so she go go after school a few times a week. Replace sugar for the lighter sugar its sweeter and so less is used its looks just like the normal suff and same price i get my from tesco. Everytime she asks for sweets get her to eat fruit, pop get her to drink a glass of water first, This will help give her five a day and soon she wont want to eat sugar as shes filling up on healthy. If you have a chip pan or fryer throw it away and only have chips ovend and one night a week. Encourge her in the kitchen cooking the food will make her feel part of it all and want to eat the good stuff.Never force her but give rewards when she eats one thing that she didnt bfore or didnt like.Bike is great going to school on or rides out to the park, doing this together will give you or family time together and more fun for her. The key its fun not a chore. Also on televison there a program called honey were killing the kids, its about children overweight and want happens if they dont change, they go through the process of healthy living and how to change there pattern and yours which helps all the family. Try the internet on this. We changed from junk to healthy adn treats and boy do we feel better and going out together a few times a week improved our realtionship. I wish youi well take care xx
