Avoid fast food. Eat lots of fruits and veggies -- at least 5 a day! Drink water, never soda or juice. When you fix your plate at dinner, fill half with veggies, a quarter with your main dish, and the last quarter with whole grain bread. Stop after one plate.

Walk or ride your bike in the morning or evening.

give up cokes, candy bars, french fries, and other non-essential starchy foods. Eat lots of salads, the green leafy kinds, tomatoes, and lots of fruits. Have baked or broiled meats with your salads and fruits.

and exercise!!! go swimming, biking, running, something every day for an hour. Don't miss a day. And drink water while you are doing it.

You can do this!! One hour at your age is like forever, I know. But if you want to buff up, you will do it!!

You can make this a lifestyle now and when you get out of college it will be such a part of your life that you won't be able to imagine not doing it.

Eat healthy, of course. Exercise at least 5 times a week for 30 minutes. Drink 96ozs. of water per day. Do not drink more than 1 diet drink a day. If you do want to have a "treat" occasionally, save it for something REALLY worth and don't binge on it when you do.

I recently lost 46 pounds this way. The water really helped with not feeling hungry. Hope this helps!
