The guy likes you. He's walking you home even though it's out of his way. He's probably trying to work up the nerve to ask you out and is just as scared about it as you are. Why not break the ice and ask him if he'd like to grab a burger or something with you after work? Just something simple that doesn't sound exactly like a date but could lead to a date.

It's okay to be the one to ask the guy out. I've done it before.

I have to consider the way you presented this question. If you want anyone to take you seriously, don't type like this. If this is the best that you can do, then don't make the first move. You'll only embarrass the both of you. If this is the best way that you can present yourself, he's only being nice to you because he's afraid that you're so mentally deficient that you'll get lost on the way home. If he hits on you, it's only because it's easy to get a retarded girl in bed. But he won't stay with you.

Depends what the guy is like:

If he is shy guy, the girl should make the first move.

If he is not shy, then flirt it out a bit longer, send him some cues that you like him, drop a hint here and there. And if he still dosent get it just ask him.

If you do have to ask him out, use something like this:
"Why dont we go to the movies sometime?"
"Got plans this weekend? Lets go to lunch"
Simple stuff, dont stress it.

You might be suprised at how willing he will be to go with you.

Yes a girl should make the first move. And also, he wouldn't be walking you home if he didn't like you. And next time, spell out the words. The way you do it is confusing sometimes.

some guys like the girl to make the first move..but this guy seems to like make the moves becuase he's walking you home and trying to spend extra time with you. he may not be getting the picture that you like him too, so maybe thats why he's not making a move. try to send him some extra signs giving him the green light, try touching his arm, flash an extra smile, if he doesn't like you, he'll back up some to show you he doesn't like you like that. but by the way it sounds he really likes you. just be patient until he makes a move.

i would make the first move, just dont be so forceful about it. a guys loves a girl with confidence and dont scare him away by being too forceful. just be like i really appreciate you walking me home and i love spending time with you and you're a realy sweet guy and stuff like that guys like that. i made the first move with my boyfriend and we've been together for 2 years

good luck i hope that helps

Okay...apart from getting really fed up with text speak about two lines in, the essential part of this is 'should girls make the first move'...

...my answer is 'YES'. Do it...he will love you forever for it!

You never know til you try. Do what you feel, expect rejection just in case it doesn't go your way but don't let it scare you. Go with the flow and how you feel. Good luck. Faith

i don't think it matters who makes the move, you could be like: just joking around then say: hey what would u do if i kissed you right now?

he might even be like: this, then kiss you but then u wont ruin ur relationship and you can go further in it good luck =D
