Lucifer, who we all know was, at one time, an angel...
wouldn't the fall of him and man mean that evil existed even before Satan? In order for Lucifer to betray God? Does that mean even GOD had a little evil in him, that maybe passed to his angels? How could Lucifer have turned against God being purely good Like GOD?...I thought God was the most pure form of Good there is.
I know he wanted to be like God but....how? There should have been no trace of evil within him or any of the angels for them to have thought that way.

"you're twisting Scripture that you haven't even read!"
BULL ******* ****.
I go to a ******* private RELIGIOUS school.
I think discussing the BIBLE everyfuckingday for 3 years, going on 4 years means I've read it..A LOT of times.
I still have doubts.
Everyone, at some point does. STFU. You don't even know me.
Just cuz I go to a Christian school though doesn't mean I enjoy reading the ******* bible everyday.
YEAH I HAVE READ IT.
That doesn't make it any more understandable.

Angels have freewill, the devil made his decision, remember the bible says he was the most beautiful of all angels, pride is what brought him down. I believe when God created angels he gave them freewill, the Apostle Paul says we will judge angels, 1 Cor. 6:3

Don't you think that the L-RD G-d (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) also had rules which the angels were commanded to follow?
Who said that all angels are pure like the L-RD G-d (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)? Lucifer, became jealous of the way "I AM" was treating humans. Lucifer had just as much free will as we do, to obey or disobey the Word of "I AM". He chose to disobey and thus was thrown out of the Kingdom of the L-RD G-d.
Of course evil existed, why do you think "I AM" referred to the tree that Adam and Eve ate from as the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil"? Being a Just and True G-d "I AM" did create good and evil - He already had in place our eternal salvation - that is why He is also called "Elohim" (uni-plural noun referring to the G-dhead "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit"). This is also why we find in John 1:1 a reference to the "Word becoming flesh and dwelling among us."
Edit:
Please, get a handle on your profanity, it is insulting and in violation of the Y!A guidelines. I wouldn't be surprised if someone reported you.

I'm not sure where angels came from, did God create them? If so then I guess you're right, God created angels with the potential for evil and how could the potential for evil come from something that is pure good?
Hey Jacko0, quit wearing my hat.

God did not create angels or man to be like God. Angels were created to worship God, but some of the angels were created especially to be taken and destroyed. (II Peter 2:12) God created evil, (Isaiah 45:7) yet he himself does not do evil. So, the fact that Satan and his angel followers were created to do as they did is biblically supported, God knew and knows everything.

here we go, okay, look, G-d and has always been, for there to be good there had to be opposite, which is bad. The bad creeped into lucifer and made him unclean. Since angels aren't forgiven he and his followers went to Hell. (Sheol was pre-christ purgator and was eliminated after christ) Since
G-d is all knowing that means he knew this would happen, because bad was allready there and lusted for action, fufilled by Lucifer's entertaining evil. Why G-d didn't eliminate evil to begin with
a) he saves the best for last (read the last few chapters of revelation)
b) to be a fair G-d, he gave us the choice between good and bad, which was actually at our expense.

Your scenario would result in the angels being nothing more than automatons.
The potential for evil was always there, and this evil we are dealing with is where Satan and the other fallen turned their backs on God, as it were. They removed God from the center of their lives, and in Satan's case, he turned to himself.

Evil constitutes the rejection of good, and results in an absence of good.
And while God most certainly created all things .. he created them good and very good ... not evil.
Satan ... along with all who choose to follow him ... were created good by God ... and they later became evil by their own free will choices and actions.

Lucifer didn't actually betray God. That's like saying Scooter Libby betrayed George Bush.
Lucifer is on God's payroll.

God did not create evil,. He created the possibility for it. There had to be that possibility if there was also the possibility of Good. Love must be chosen not coerced.

Man, you have anger issues.
Evil is not an entity in and of itself but the manifestation of an absence of righteousness.
