I find that many times I sporadically, am charged up and really want to dedicate to exercise and eating healthier. Then, I get off course or in a situation where I end up having to break my routine and I end up back at square one.

The reason why you fail is because you accustomed to your current regiment. I'm sure this goes without saying, but it is a lifestyle choice. An exercise routine cannot be looked at as a temporary period when your going to shape up. It has to be a permanent choice, like quitting smoking.

For a lack of better terminology, you have to know it is going to be hard, and not only accept that but look forward to it as an integral part of your lifestyle.

Like learning to ride a bike, the key is if you fall, get back up as soon as possible, and try again. After you've done it successfully for a year, both eating sensibly and being active, there just won't be any other way..
