Sausage and cheese sounds good!
How about cinnamon with a glaze on top? Or bits of dried cherry or apple?

You made your own version of a colache. These are very popular in Texas. There are lots of versions. Most are baked inside a roll with ingredients that range from fruit stuffings to sausages and jalapeno. You could try cheese, jalapeno, hot dogs, ham, potato, bell peppers, eggs......whatever sounds good to you. Colaches make a great breakfast or snack. Your biscuit idea is great! For more ingredients ideas, do a google search for Colache Factory. Their menu will give you lots of ideas to make your own. Enjoy!

Hi, how about trying some bacon and cheese. Or you could put some sort of jelly on the inside. There are so many other options. Just experiment that's what I do. Good Luck.

You could saute onions and garlic, add lean ground beef and ground pork and cook until no longer pink. Add soy sauce, black pepper and just a little sugar. Cook for 5 minutes more. Bring to room temperature or refrigerate until cold and then use it inside your biscuit. It's the filling I learned to go inside Hum Bow (Steamed Buns).

Don't be shy !!!!! Wrapping protein in starch was how "pigs in a blanket" was born!!
I use up the last of my chili by making cheese/chili biscuits !! When you make up the biscuit dough.....add a few teaspoons of complimentary flavors - I add a tsp of cumin and a 1/4 tsp of chili powder when making mexican biscuits !

It doesn't sound disgusting to me. Yummy. My Gramma used to put a dollop of strawberry jam inside for a morning treat. I think I will give it a try too. Thanks for the good idea!!

Well, you could make it into desert. Inside, stuff with juicy apple pie filling. (Moist apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour)
This will be a turnover. Bon-appetiet!
