"you don't buy a suit without trying it on"??? What a terrible answer for something meant to be beautiful. There are many young people that make the decision to wait. I have 3 very good looking, football team nephews who have made that decision. It is possible

It became less accepted as a wise decision, that's what happened.

For one thing, sex is a supremely powerful urge. If it was a rule that we couldn't do it until marriage, a lot of us would probably marry a little too soon.

For another thing, it takes longer to build yourself up as a quality candidate for a secure job, so as to provide for that family. Our grandparents could have married and had children at 20 and been okay, because that's how the economy was. Nowadays we have to go to graduate school and we're 25 before we should even be thinking about a commitment like marriage. You think people are gonna wait til age 25+ to have sex? Think again.

The concept of free love during the hippie generation started it all. And alot of the people don't believe what the Bible says about sex being a part of marriage.

There is no thing as pre-marital sex biblically, in the Bible, losing your virginity = Marriage.

1st person you have sex with = spouse.

It is totally unnecessary to wait until you have a piece of paper to make love with someone who loves you. You people are so sexually repressed.
