We have a bulldog and have been finding all of these really great apartments w/ large decks for her but noone accepts a bulldog. They don't even give the opportunity to meet to check temperment. Is there another breed she can pass for?

Here are two images, one if of her and her mommy.

Call them boxer/beagle mixes. Sometimes naming two breeds seems more convincing.
What a cute pup! Get a photo of a boxer mix with brindle color that is similar and a beagle mix with ears that are in-between and say: Dad is boxer mix and mom is beagle mix and this is the result. If you are taking both the mom and the pup, say the mom is a boxer mix with a dalmation mixed parent. Apartments aren't going to run DNA tests and with mixes, there are no papers to prove breed.
Just be sure that before you sign the lease the manager sees the pup! Also let the pup be seen frequently and socialize it to the people in the complex. Make sure it is well trained and well behaved. Later, if it comes up that others say "That sure looks like a Bulldog" you can say: Yeah, I've heard that before, but to my knowledge, this is what I was told it was..
I believe in being a bit dishonest when it comes to current discrimination against animals.
Once the dog wins the hearts of the people around, they won't care. But you might have to stay on the low down with what you tell others in case the complex makes a clause to deny certain breeds.
If you live in a state or city considering breed specific legislation, consider moving because a dog that even looks like it could be a bull dog type can be confiscated and euthanized. either that or find a place that accepts all breeds and move there because some places (not colorado! or dade county!) that forbid a breed will grandfather in those that already own the breed. Join organizations that are fighting against breed specific legislation.
My city does not have breed specific legislation. They tried to consider it but there were too many from Vet association to oppose and there is a state law that forbids banning of specific breeds. HOWEVER, to keep things this way, people have to speak up and get involved in letting local politicians know that they are for strengthening laws against abuse and neglect and AGAINST bsl.

I agree with others- it might be able to pass for a boxer mix if the people know nothing about dogs. By the way, she is so cute! There has to be an apartment building that doesn't have restrictions on dog breeds- keep calling around. The problem with the restriction rule is that if they let one person by with one of the breeds, they have to let others too. Honesty is best but then again- you need a place to live so try boxer mix if the leasing office doesn't know much about dogs.
Maybe try renting a townhome or house in your area- often you can find townhomes for just as cheap as apartments. Check craigslist and ask a real estate agent you may know.

Also, what state do you live in?

Boston Terrier/Lab mix OR Boston Terrier/Boxer mix

You can try telling them you don't know for sure what kind of dog it is, but the people who gave her to you said she was a mixed breed. Since she is a puppy they won't really be able to tell she is an American Bulldog. When she gets bigger, if she is well behaved, no one will complain, and you shouldn't have any problems.

Well, she is very bully looking, so you're going to have some problems with people believing you, but DANG she is cute.

If you insist on lying about it, which often if your dog is well mannered, most people won't think twice, I definatley wouldn't suggest mastiff or boxer, as those are often breed restricted as well. Your best bet is to call her a mix of unknown origin, and see what they say. Good luck on finding a place.

He did not attempt to attack in simple terms by way of fact he's an american bulldog. What canines did he attempt to attack? What grew to become into the canines doing? What grew to become into the placement? Did you spot it happen? somewhat some circumstances enormous canines are insitgated by capacity of little canines, the little canines is barking and growling, and egging the great canines on, yet it incredibly is not seen as a great gamble. yet whilst the great canines gets ill of the little canines and strikes lower back the great canines is 'attacking'. is this what got here approximately? in case your canines grew to become into the insitagtor i might take him lower back to obedience guidance so he learns that it incredibly is Unacceptable, and it is going to additionally help resocialize him with different canines. I paintings at a vet health facility, and that i've got never seen a canines grow to be aggressive in direction of different canines quickly after being neutered. and that i might additionally save him on a leash in any respect circumstances whilst he's around different canines that he does not be attentive to properly. it incredibly is in simple terms by way of fact he's so enormous and effectual, and if he ever did bite yet another canines, Or human, for ANY reason he ought to do severe injury. i'm hoping you come across out what introduced on your canines, and that i'm hoping it gets resolved. reliable luck. He would have in simple terms not enjoyed this actual canines. Or it incredibly is possible that it must be by way of hormonal changes. in simple terms save an eye fixed on it. in case your canines has never had issues before i won't have the capacity to think of that he incredibly has canines aggression matters.
