Yes I have. When I moved from Illinois to Georgia to be with the love of my life, I relied on my faith and prayer to the Lord that it was the right thing to do and it would be good for my love and me. Many friends told me I was taking a leap of faith and to just go for it. Some did not agree. But I felt by faith and in my heart that it was the right thing and I have found out for sure that it was. We are both so very happy and we do belong together without a doubt.

My whole life is an acting out of my faith. I am a missionary in full time voluntary service, telling others about Jesus and doing humanitarian work for the Lord.

Once when I was asking God to help me clean up my life he spoke to my heart and said this: "Go repair the harness" So not being actually for certain that God spoke to me or that it was just me thinking it, I obediently went out and began sewing some leather patches over some worn spots on our horse drawn cart . I wasnt taking any chances. If God wanted me to repair the harness I was going to do it no matter what the reason was. It was wierd because this just came out of the blue while I was praying for God to give me direction on cleaning up and making restitution for my past sins . So while I was repairing the leather I ran out of sail twine. I was using a sailmakers needle, palm and twine . So I went where I thought I had another spool of twine stored and the moment I found the twine I knew why God had told me to "repair the harness". I had stolen that spool of twine off a US Lines container ship 20 something years previously and God convicted me of it on the spot. God knew I would run out of twine before I finished the job and he also gave me knowledge on where to find the stolen spool. So I got on my knees and asked for God's forgiveness and for direction on how to make restitution. I had a problem because that shipping Co. (US Lines) had been out of business for about 15 years at the time this all happened so how could I repay them for their loss? The answer came from God at about 3 in the morning. I sat up in my bed covered with sweat and said thank you God. The Lord in his infinite mercy had let me remember that the US Line ship I stole the twine from had been purchased by Sealand Shipping Co Inc. So I mailed a letter of confession to the CEO of Sealand asking him for his forgiveness and I also included a check for 100$ hoping that it would cover the cost of the twine plus interest for the 20 + years they were deprived of their property. I told them God had forgiven me but that I wanted their forgiveness as well. Well to make a short story long, which I always do being part sailor and part cowboy( love to tell a story) the CEO wrote back and gave me his forgiveness and said they had donated the 100 bucks to the Seamans Church in NYC in my name. Is God awesome or what! So yes when God talks to me ,even if I am not sure it was God, I listen and act on my faith. I obey . God will never let you get hurt when you obey his voice
