We ran the fridge when we drove our RV this summer, going up hills and down hills, and it worked just fine. The propane burner is designed to operate on the level, but that probably means within 5 degrees of level.

The 110V compressor should work at any reasonable angle close to level (you aren't going to park your RV on a 20 degree incline, anyway for other reasons).

My friends with more RV experience have never told me of any problems they have had with their refrigerators.

my dad had this problem,
while driving it seems to work fine even when you are on hills all day.
while parked it seemed to work better if it was level, but it did work some at a slight angle.
