Try Sears? Also look online (type "675 battery Sears camera" in your favorite search engine) and also check Ebay.

Mercury batteries were banned in the US a long time ago. Problems with mercury pollution and little kids getting mercury poisoning from eating them.
People have cobbled up solutions for this problem. Two common solutions are:
Use a "WEIN Cell PX625 Replacement Battery". This gives out a voltage nearly identical to the mercury battery. Unfortunately once it is removed from it's airtight packaging, it starts to degrade. Usable for perhaps a year.
Use a silver oxide battery. This battery has a higher voltage than the original. In some cameras this doesn't matter, but in most it will not work right without modifying the camera.

Adorama.com and BHphotovideo.com both sell loads of hard to find camera batteries. It won't be mercury but it will still work. A lot of the newer versions of batteries have been renamed for some silly reason. I get all my batteries from Adorama and trust me, I have some old, obscure cameras with even more obscure batteries.

Are you helpful they recommend a digital, provided that they suggested 35mm SLR? greater useful verify! :) in case you purchase a 35mm action picture SLR, there are 2 straightforward categories. Autofocus ones, and the older instruction manual concentration in basic terms ones. I definitely have one among each and every - a Canon AE-a million and a Canon EOS 3 hundred. i could in my opinion propose getting an older one the place the controls are mechanical. this is a huge kind of exciting, and you learn lots greater approximately how cameras paintings.
