He treats me like sh!t. He's always trying to hurt me someway. Like today i got locked out of the house so i rang the doorbell, he opened the door a little and said "F*ck you fat piece of sh*t" and hit me with the door. I didn't get in till like ten minutes ago. Hes been a prick from as long as i can remember, he's 17, only one year older than me. My mom doesn't care, shes to afraid of him to do anything. He's a big pot head, everyone knows and my mom just feeds him money for his habbit. He's stole money out my purse numorous times. I know for a fact he's in a gang, because i went snooping in his room a while back and he had a gun in his boxer droor, and a knife in his bathroom. Im to scared to do anything because wth, i might get killed. He has a really bad temper and no one will get close enough to talk to him. He got arrested last year for trying to go after my dad, and we still dont know why. What do i do? Im kinda scared being in my own house.

You need to get ahold of someone talk to your guidance counselor and explain to them that you are afraid to go home because your brother. Call the police. If someone doesn't do something soon then things won't get better.

You'd have to be willing to go father then him, in other words you'd have to be prepare to actually kill this guy before you could actually confront him, so your stuck dealing with your parents short-commings again.... this is what happens when you don't raise someone right..... another posiblitlity is get some GOOD friends that got you back to take care of this guy, he isn't nothing special, he isn't hardcore, just a lost younth looking for ego were ever he can get it, so in the end he really would breck like a box of china in a plane crash if you could get him right, but thats beyond most people. Your stunk getting the f out of that dysfunctional bs....

if you love your brother and ur parents won't do ant thing about his little problem, tell the police, give them evidence and STAY AMONOMOUS!! sorry its not too good advice.
