We can't really tell based on this letter. Call the Sheraton main headquarters and make sure that the person signing the letter is, indeed, an employee who is authorized to recruit new hires. Ask them to verify if the offer is real. Seems pretty odd that they only included an email address without a phone number. I don't mean to make sweeping generalizations but if I see that an offer, whatever it may be, is from Nigeria, I toss it.

Sounds fake.

You need a visa to enter Nigeria or any country.

Do not go without a proper visa and if you have to pay up front then you will not hear from them anyway.

If you still have an interest then write to SHERATON head quarters and find out, on the Internet they will have open jobs and the application forms for you to fill out. Do not write or reply to them at their E-mail address, get the authentic one from the Internet.

Some people are just too naive to survive. Repeat after me "Nigerian Phishing Scam." Now, write that 100 times, neatly. Maybe you'll learn.

Did you apply for a position with them?

No?

Then it's a scam...

That's just basic common sense.
