fengshui is not a cure-all. it cannot improve love and relationship. it is not true that fengshui is about furniture arrangement so that they can be in harmony. fengshui is using the energy of 1 or some or all of the 5 elements (fire, earth, metal, water and wood) to increase wealth OR increase health - but it does not improve love or relationship.

when decorating your bedroom for love, it's about establishing your mind to recognize that you are ready for a relationship. For example, place a nightstand on both sides of your double bed - for you & for your partner. Many single people only have one nightstand b/c they are the only one there to use it. Having two suggests that there is someone else in your life that require that second nightstand.
I would remove the single bed from the room. That bed suggests that there may, at times, be a third person in your room, and that is not conducive to romance.
Also, if there are any things like books, a TV, phone, computer, etc. in the room, remove them. The bedroom should be for sleep & romance & that is all. Also, have nothing stored under your bed. Doing so will block energy and lead to a stagnate relationship.
Pink or red bedclothes will awaken the passion.
Here are some other Feng Shui tips:

*smiles* Feng Shui is not just about decorating the inside of a home, it's a complete lifestyle in fact that includes everything from business etiquette to plants in your backyard. I would suggest you do some research on Feng Shui and join one of the many yahoo groups that send out emails and newsletters. Now, as for your room, if you want to be *closer* to someone, *winks and laughs*, simply change the double bed into a twin and add a decent bottle of chardonnay to the small fridge.....Have fun!....PS. Perhaps a red cushion on the bed.

There are two types of feng shui as far as I can tell, environmental and indoor. Feng shui was designed as a system to set houses and office buildings into their environment properly. The flow of chi through the environment was the utmost importance. This is the feng shui that I believe it. Putting chimes by your window is silly. However, I can't discount the placebo effect; if you believe in it, it works.

feng shui usually means make your home inviting. people put so much mystery into it that it becomes meaningless. usually less cluttered places are more inviting. think of things that say "inviting". there is a color system you might want to research -- some colors are usually better than others. make sure your beds aren't in what is known in western cultures as the "death position" -- many cultures have rules against having the foot of your bed facing the door. its supposedly the easiest way to get dead bodies out of their beds.
generallly electric devices like your fridge are bad -- electric currents redirect energy away from its natural flow. you want to invite positive energy in -- not distract it.
when you decorate it helps to keep it simple -- no little things, no sharp edges. some life is nice -- like a healthy plant or a betta fish in a small tank.

Penn and Teller have a show on Showtime called ********, where they take on various topics to determine if they are real or, well, ********. They once did a show on Feng Shui and determined that it was, in fact, ********.
