Similarities is both are men, both were circumcised, and differences is Moses was literate hence had the 10 commandments written and mohamad was illiterate hence there was no dictation.

They are both messengers of God. They came to mobilize the message of monotheism (which was the message of all God's messengers). They both were orphans (born after their fathers died). They both suffered from rejection of the governments at their places and times (which the most of messengers suffered).
The difference that each of them came in different time than the other.
Edit: I agree that Moses talked directly to God which no one else did.

Differences are: Moses is NOT an historical figure, he was made up by at least 6 different authors. Mohammad was a real person and has historical evidence that he existed.
