To join? What? I was in the Army.
The Marines are good too, but they only get to go where the Navy takes them.

They both have their advantages and disadvantages. I suggest talking to a recruiter from both the Army and the Marine Corps then decide what is best suited to you (Providing the whole reason you were asking was with regard to which force to join).

If you want to be lean mean fightin machine, totally join The Marine Corps. The Army, well I dont know anything about the Army because I'm joining the Marines. So I guess my opinion is one sided.

There are more oppurtunities for training in the Army.
Try any of the other branches. Less chance to be put into harms way.
If you want to fight become a Marine. They are gung ho for it more than the Army.

Marine Corps. Army just isn't as professional. "An Army of One?" Or, "Looking for a few good men."
