I have a Visa Check Card/Debit card. I only use it for debits. What is the Check Card for and how do I use it?

A check card is used the same way a credit card would be. The only difference is that the funds will be debited directly from your checking account. When making purchases with a check card you can either select to use this as a "credit" or "debit" purchase. Either way the funds will be withdrawn directly from your checking account linked to the card.The only difference is that when using it as credit you will need to sign and debit you will use a pin number. You can use check cards at almost every business as well as online. It is usually suggested that you do not use these types of cards over the internet though just incase your card number is captured because the hacker will have access to your bank account.

You can use that at a store just like a credit card. Also you can use it to order stuff on-line or to make a reservation for things. It is just like a credit card only the money comes directly out of your checking account so you don't have a monthly bill. But then you also have the option of using it as a debit card if need be. :)

you use it like a check instead of writing a check this linked to your checking account you give the account number and they take the money from your checking account

Use it where Vis/MasterCard are accepted instead of writing a check.
