Here is some advise on Depression by JOYCE MEYER.

The Bible tells us of kings and prophets who became depressed. King David, Jonah and Elijah are three good examples. (See Psalm 40:1,3;55:4; Jonah 1 and 2; Kings 19:5-8)
I believe the reason so many people suffer from depression is that everyone on the face of the earth has to deal with disappointment. If we don't know how to properly deal with it, disappointment can lead to depression. From what I have observed, disappointment is the first phase of depression.
All of us must face and deal with disappointment at different times. No person alive has everything happen in life the way they want or in the way they expect. When things don't prosper or succeed according to our plan, the first thing we feel is disappointment. This is normal. There is nothing wrong with feeling disappointed. But we must know what to do with that feeling, or it will move into something more serious. In the world we cannot live without disappointment, but in Jesus we can always be given re-appointment!
In Philippians 3:13 we read a statement by the apostle Paul:
...but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]; forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead.
Paul stated that one thing most importance to him was to let go of what lay behind and press toward the things that were ahead! When we get disappointed, then immediately get re-appointed , that's exactly what we're doing. We're letting go of the causes for disappointment and pressing toward what God has for us. We get a new vision, plan, idea, a fresh outlook, a new mindset, and we change our focus to that. WE DECIDE TO GO ON!

Isaiah 43:18, 19 says it like this:

Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
God is willing to do a new thing in our lives. He always has something fresh, but we seem to want to hang onto the old. We hang on in our thoughts and in our conversation. It seems that some people want to talk about their disappointments in life rather than their dreams and visions for the future.
God's "mercies" (KJV) are new every day. "...His [tender] compassion fail not. They are new every morning..."
(Lamentations 3:22,23). Every day is a brand new start!
We can let go of yesterday's disappointments and give GOD a chance to do something wonderfulfor us today.

You may be thinking, "Joyce, I've been disappointed so many times, I'm afraid to hope." That place of No Hope is exactly where the devil wants you to be!
I would rather hope all of my life and receive nothing, than to live perpetually in a feeling of disappointment.
Hoping doesn't cost anything, and it could pay off generously. Disappoinment, however, is very expensive. It costs you your joy and your dreams of tomorrow.
We have a promise from God that those who place their hope in Him will never be disappointed or put to shame.
(Romans 5:5.)
I don't believe this means we will never experience disappointment. As I have already shared, no person can live in the world without being disappointed. I believe that verse means we won't have to live in disappointment.
Keeping our hope in Jesus will eventually produce positive results.
-KEEP THE FAITH!!!

ALWAYS REMEMBER,
WHEN YOU ARE DOWN TO NOTHING,
GOD IS UP TO SOMETHING!

-GOD BLESS

Seek what is truly important in life and put your energies there.

I am in a very similar situation and feel that the world is crashing into some significant change for the better. Things are not how they should be and keep escalating.

I Don't know if this of this is of any help but take a look at this book (it's at least something),

I have worked jobs all over the world. The tone of your question seems to convey to me that you are a defeatist. You need confidence. You can be sure that when you have an interview, the job hangs on it. Think about that. I am self educated. I never went to high school. You have to be driven to succeed. Decide what job you want. Educate yourself about the job. Write a resume. Hunt a job the way you will work. Hard and continuous. Be the bull of the woods. You will succeed

Are you Christian? If you are, I would suggest praying to God continually. My family is sort of in the same situation, except we're struggling to send kids to college.

If you're feeling depressed, go to lifewithoutlimbs.com, it squeezed some tears outta my eyes.

Let's say....you have a friend that's in the same sitch as you. They might think you're pretty lucky, ya know? There's millions of other people out there that are struggling with money probs, job probs, BIG PROBS. So...if you consider other people (not saying you're selfish), it might put you on a higher step in life, and maybe with some optomism, you could find a good job to support your family. We're having a rough time too, so you're not alone.

If you have been searching for work for three years, maybe there are some more practical things you need to consider. Perhaps you need to work on interview skills. Make sure when you go for an interview you are dressed nicely, neat and clean looking. Maybe you are looking for work in the wrong areas, in work you are not qualified for. When you fill out an application make sure your spelling is good and writing is neat. I don't know what else to tell you. Hang in there, and don't get too discouraged, think positive and the right thing will come at the right time.

The question is not is this a part of fate, but rather do you believe in fate?

If you believe in fate and predestiny then yes this would be fate, from your perspective.

If however you don't believe, then you find yourself in a troublesome situation that may still not be of you're own doing and for that i sympathize.

I read an article a few months ago in New Scientist that suggests that the concept of fate may indeed exist. In this article i german scientist states that the secret of fate lies in Quantum Mechanics. I have linked the article which explains that should this theory prove correct then there is no concept such as free will, due to the fact that the atoms of our body and the space around it is predetermined to move to certain areas at certain times.

As such, our conciseness which is also made up of atoms also has no choice but to move in certain ways at certain times as well, thus creating thoughts and actions in our minds and creates the concept of 'fate' but removing the concept of free will.

First, God loves you! He will help you. Elijah had to send his prayer for rain 7 times before God gave him what he wanted. Keep sending those prayers! I've sent one up for you today! I won't fill you with more poo... But I will say this, are you depending on God or on yourself?

If the answer is God, just keep "standing" and he will deliver. His timing is perfect. He loves to make me sweat, but he ALWAYS delivers in perfect timing!

If the answer is you, re-evaluate yourself. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. So grab ahold of Christ and hold on tight for the ride of your life!!!!

Fate has nothing to do with it.

There's no such thing as luck, chance, or coincidence. Do you think you are on this earth because of some random chance? Do you think this universe and all the great things in it are all just an accident? I don't.

God has a plan for your life. Keep the faith. Good things come to those who wait.
