There is only one breed that can be called a "pit Bull", the American Pit Bull Terrier. There are different colors, Not different names. People say stuff like red nose pit or blue nose pit or gator pit or stuff like that. But those are color variants. This may help, American Pit Bull Terriers get 18 - 23 inches and 22 - 75 pounds, anything over that is a mix or simply NOT an American pit bull terrier. The American bulldog get 22 - 28 inches and 76 - 140 pounds. The American Staffordshire Terrier, is arguable. Some people say its a different breed then the american pit bull terrier some say its the same just another variant. I say a different breed, because after all, they're bigger boned, shorter stockier and a little less heavy. Also their more round.

Hope I Helped!!
And good luck, I love dogs, and American pit bull terriers and other powerful big boned muscular dogs get bad rep but there really great dogs.

If you have a dog you got as a stray or at a dog pound, they could be guessing on breed. It could be your dog is not even an American Pit Bull Terrier. I am sure she is adorable, whatever she is. By color, she could be any sort of dog that resembles a Pit Bull. She could also be a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier. Some dogs that are "Pit Bull" are registered by UKC or ADBA as American Pit Bull Terrier. The same dog could also be registered by AKC as an American Staffordshire Terrier. There are lots of variations of dogs considered Pit Bull type!
But if you have a bully breed you likely have a very fun, affectionate and loyal pup.
As far as photos go, there are different photo online resources like Flickr where you can put photos of your pup and then post the link here.

They shouldn't be bred at all right now unless you have completed their health testing. Honestly, I have talked to several people who used to breed pitbulls that are very active in rescue. They said that breeding pibtulls at this crisis is very irresponsibility because there are thousand of them needing good homes. There are thousand of pitbull puppies are homeless and dying. Why do you want to contribute more problem for them if you love the breed (pit bull) so dearly? Unfortunately they don't come expensive to sell either maybe around $50 to $300.00 And plus the media press hasn't been good to pit bulls lately. The chance of finding a good home for pit bull puppies is harder than other breeds. You might end up waiting for a long time to find them all good home.

Posting pictures: You'd have to use an image hosting site and then post the link on here. I use Photobucket ( http://www.photobucket.com ) but my husband says Picasaweb is easier to use ( http://www.picasaweb.google.com )

Here's a link that may be of interest to you. It's the Find-A-Bull game and the link is:

You might want to look up some info on American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and Staffordshire Bull Terriers, breeds commonly referred to as "pit bulls."

could be any one of the 5 bully breeds color doesn't really define that just head and body shape and size. a picture is really needed. Dog Fancy has a magbook called Bully Breeds check it out it is full of good info on training, socialization, fighting BSL and how to tell the different bully breeds apart.

Sounds like she has moo moo spots. Pits come in all kinds of colors...

Here is a site that has a list of all the colors that Pits usually come in... (which is pretty much everything).

I looked at the pic, I don't think she is moo moo spotted... usually that is smaller spots... anyways though she is adorable. Pit Bulls rock my socks. Take care.

She's an American Pit Bull Terrier. That's her BREED. Her color really doesn't make a difference unless you plan on showing her.

Does it really matter - what really matters is whether she sleeps under the covers or over them.

This is assuming of course that she's been spayed, you cuddle her a lot, socialize her with other dogs and people, and has earned her CD degree through good obedience training.
