Has anyone gotten one of the books or tapes or taken a seminar and been able to do a verifiable OBE?

"out of body" experiences can be caused by many things. Meditative or hypnotic experiences can create an altered mental state, which changes a person's perception. Near death experiences, or other traumatic incidents, also create an altered consciousness. Many people who experience spontaneous out of body experiences are actually having mild seizures, which can lead to euphoric or ecstatic feelings.
I've used meditative or relaxation techniques, but have never had an out of body experience. They can help calm the mind and provide some clarity though.

When I was around nine I used to levitate to the ceiling while sleeping and felt paralysed with fear and couldn't move my body, I tried shouting my moms name but no voice came out, this used to happen every couple of days..
23 yrs later, I have sleep paralysis which seems like a milder form, I don't levitate but my body is paralysed and I feel disconnected from my body unable to talk

i was wishing i could have an out of body experiance in the bathroom at KFC the other day tho, and im sure whoever had to clean that up after the toilet overflowed wished they could too.

There is no scientific verification of OBE ... or anything supernatural or paranormal, for that matter.

I am going to have to go with 'no'. If there was an actual scientific verification of this, it would be all over.
