My boyfriend and I are going to a wedding on October 6th. He is one of the groomsmen wearing a black tux and orange vest, and the bridesmaids are wearing brown. I'm thinking about wearing a halter dress that hits mid calf. The color is David's Bridals oasis, which is kind of a calipso color with black undertones. Because it is the first weekend of october I'm planning on wearing it with black heals and a black cashmire wrap.

What do you think??

My only concern is that I wore it to his sister's wedding this past March, and his whole family is coming to the wedding as well.

That dress sounds lovely and I'm sure no one will remember it. Wear different accessories and do you hair differently and it will be like a whole new look! Did you wear the same wrap? If so maybe a different wrap to dress it up differently. I'm sure it will work fine!

i'm sure you won't be the only person wearing the same thing as the last wedding you were all at. it sounds like a cute outfit! if you think it's very close to the bridesmaids, you could ask the bride if she minds, but i wouldn't even bother. it's a fall wedding, and you're wearing a fall color. :)

I wouldn't wear it If his family doesn't see you often, or if you have pictures in it because you will be taking pictures again at this wedding.

You should be fine... but if it is an evening wedding (6pm or after) then you should wear a full length formal gown...

i doubt they will remember. i think it should be fine but, are you trying to match the groomsmen and blend w/ the bridal party? they would probably piss the bride off.
