I think it's counter productive to try and figure out how or why someone believes what they do. We are all entitled to believe what we choose. What another believes has no ramifications on my life. Live and let live.

What exactly have we Christians misinterpreted? Also, Christians do not believe that other religions have misinterpreted their "evidence" because they have no true "evidence". I do realize that other religions believe that their "holy books" are the only truth. The fact remains that these religious groups acknowledge Jesus Christ as a "prophet". The word "prophet" itself has this meaning, "someone who brings a message of truth from God to the people." That being the case, how is it possible for non-Christian religions to think of Jesus Christ as a prophet sent from "their god," but in turn, not believe he was who he said he was? Wouldn't that mean that "their god" sent them a "prophet" who was a liar and a fraud? It's all so contradictory! Even the ones who crucified him believed he was a "prophet," but they also deemed his teachings untrue. If they believe Jesus was nothing more than a "prophet," or in some instances "a great prophet" and prophets are messengers for the truth, then does that mean that they believe their god would send them someone to lie to them about being the Messiah? You can't believe in Jesus without a belief in God, which means you can't believe that some other god sent Jesus to the world as a "prophet." Bottom line -- Jesus Christ was not a "prophet," He was then, is now, and always will be God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

I have faith the God exists. Yes I have had my doubts, but I know God exists because I see Him at work all around me. It is hard to misinterpret the evidence when the evidence is so personal. I have also noticed when my faith is strained, God always does something that strengthens me.
Romans 5:1-5.

Well, I believe it goes hand and hand. We have faith that the Holy Bible was written by the Holy Spirit. We have faith that Christ birth was through the conception of the Holy Spirit and Mary. We have faith that after this life, there is a Heaven and Hell. We have faith that Christ is coming back again. To be a Christian, is to live by faith. To any non-believer, the above sounds completely insane! So, physical evidence of a book (Holy Bible), and man (Christ) alone isn't enought to sustain a religion. By applying faith and the evidence is what sustains belief. Isn't this true for any religion? Like you mentioned other religions, they also believe we've misinterpreted our evidence.

I am a Christian and I have faith, I have hope. I know a better tomorrow is coming, now you are right I know God exists because I have seen evidence. I feel the Love and compassion in my heart that no other human can give, I seen people in the name of Jesus Christ be healed, I know Jesus died for me on Calvery.
And I sill have faith that tomorrow when I get up Jesus will take care of me, I believe today, faith is the evidence of things not seen. I have it, Faith also gives me hope, without hope I would be lost, seeking, but with Christ, my seeking is over, I found what I am looking for. I have Peace in my Soul, Death doesn't scare me, how I die is a little scary, but I have enough faith to know that when it comes the Lord will help me face it with dignity, it says in the Psalms that precious in his sight is the death of his saints. If you are saved, you are a saint, a child of God, reborn, redeemed, born again, If you are not saved and you would like to be just this prayer and believe, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Faith and evidence go hand in hand.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1
You can still have faith in something that is evident or can be supported by evidence. I KNOW there is a God and I have faith that salvation is through Christ. Knowledge and faith can co-exist together.

I'm pretty sure that both faith and it's role in spirituality are both gravely misinterpreted.
John 1:5
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
If they can't understand:
Matthew 7:1
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
or
Luke 10:27
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
They judge and they don't love. How can they know faith?
When Jesus was asked to increase the faith of the disciples this is what happened. This is NIV because the KJV is hard to follow here.
Luke 17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
Luke 17:6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
Luke 17:7 “Suppose one of you had a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Would he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’?
Luke 17:8 Would he not rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’?
Luke 17:9 Would he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do?
Luke 17:10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’ ”
When you do what you do because you follow the rules then you are a servant. To have faith you have to be more than a servant.
Faith is NOT wishful thinking although that's what many Churches teach. Faith is what you had in your Dad when he taught you to swim.

no...... the point of the bible, is that there is no evidence. The point of being here on earth is so we can be tested in our faith. If we show we have faith in what we can't see or explain, god gives you cookies, if not the devil beats you becuse he's happy he was right. Lucifer hated humanity, he thought god messed up when he made us and thats why he tries to "trick us into rejecting god"
Assuming the Bible is correct.

The Bible says not all people have faith.
Jehovah God and his Son Jesus knew that there would be unbelievers.
I have faith that God created us and that he loves us. I was not there when God created but I have Faith and believe what God says in the Bible to be true. If you don't want to have faith sure it makes me sad, but it doesn't affect me personally. It's your life and I'm sure in time God will make his name known and all will know that he is Jehovah.

Many Christians have interpreted the evidence correctly, and many more have not. It's all in the clouds to many people. What can I say about Muslims? They believe what they believe and they will hold that doctrine fast to the grave, but not beyond.

The word "Faith" is defined as to believe in something you dont know.
And i do have faith god is my everything because he is what helps me. My family has been in many problems and we always got out of them when we asked god for help. He is my everything and im lost w/o him. If he wasnt in my life my family would of lost our house and would be living in a foster home, so dont tell me i dont have faith, because I DO!
