For a cookout I would think that finger desserts would be the easiest - no need to worry about plates, cutlery, cutting, etc. Maybe you could swing by the grocery store and pick up different kinds of squares, tarts, cookies, etc. The two-bite brownies or the bite size cheesecakes are really nice if they sell them in your area. If you have time you can run home and plate the squares quick to make it look less like you just swung by the grocery store at the last minute. If you can't swing home, maybe swing by the dollar store and buy a decorative cheap serving plate and plate them as soon as you get to the function. Have fun tonight.

1. Whip up a batch up brownies... you can add nuts, chocolate chips or drizzle with caramel topping to jazz them up.
2. PISTACHIO DESSERT-SALAD
1 lb. can crushed pineapple including juice
1 pkg. pistachio instant pudding
1 med. Cool Whip
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. chopped nuts
Stir dry ingredients into pineapple and juice. Mix in other ingredients. Can be used either for light dessert or a salad. Serves 10.
3. Make a trifle from store-bought angle food cake or pound cake. Cube cake. Place alternate layers of cake, fresh fruit, and cool whip. Can also whip up pudding to add a layer of that too.
4. Make a dump cake. Place a can of your favorite pie filling in the bottom of a 13x9 inch pan. On top of the pie filling, place a can of crush pineapple. Add a box of dry cake mix (don't mix the cake up). Melt a stick of butter and pour that over the dry cake mix. You can then top it with some coconut or pecans. Bake at 350 until brown about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Better than Robert Redford:
1 c Flour
1/2 c Margarine
1 c Pecans; finely chopped
8 oz Cream cheese; softened
1 c Sugar
1 pk Cool whip; thawed
2 pk Instant chocolate pudding (6 3/4 oz size)
3 c Cold milk
Prepare bottom crust by mixing together flour, margarine
and pecans until crumb-like. Press mixture into greased 13x9″ baking pan. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes until
lightly golden. Cool. Beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Fold in half of Cool Whip. Spread mixture over cooled crust. Combine chocolate pudding with milk, beat on high until smooth and thickened. Spread over cream cheese layer. Spread remaining Cool Whip over top. Keep in fridge until ready to serve.

Make a Strawberry Trifle:
2 ready-made angelfood or pound cakes, torn into chunks
2 containers Cool-Whip, thawed under warm running water
2 bags frozen strawberries, thawed under warm running water
While you're tearing the cake into pieces, run warm (not hot) water over the Cool-Whip and strawberry containers until thawed enough to use -- about ten minutes.
Place a layer of cake cubes in a pretty glass bowl, and top with strawberries. Spread a layer of Cool Whip over the strawberries.
Repeat with remaining ingredients, ending with a layer of Cool-Whip. Garnish with two or three whole strawberries if desired.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMHNI
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

I don't know if you have time to go to the store but something easy and quick might be getting some fresh strawberries (wash and leave stems on) and buy some whipped cream and maybe a container of chocolate to dip in. Bring a bowl for the cream and strawberries and let everyone dig in. :)
