all caught on the roof of a 5 story burning building, who would survive, who would not, and why?

For sake of standardization, let's assume that all involved are 40 year old males in good health, none have cell phones, and the fire escape on the roof is blocked off by fire shooting out of a 5th floor window.

The survivors would be the men who could be reached by the fire truck with a ladder. Those go to the 7th floor, I think.

The hindu would throw himself into the fire because his wife died inside the building. The jew would throw himself into the fire as an example of fire as the passion of faith. The christian would kneel down and pray to God to be saved and not consumed by the hellish inferno. The muslim would kneel down and pray to Allah to be saved and not consumed by the hellish inferno. The buddhist would adopt a yoga position and smile serenely, eyes closed, expecting to be reincarnated after dying in the fire and hopefully becoming enlightened in his next life. The atheists, the agnostics and the taoist would call for help and a helicopter would come by to save them, but the taoist would insist that everyone else get into the helicopter first and end up perishing in the blaze anyway.

They all would as the atheists would start to make a rope out of their clothes and the Buddhist and Taoist would suggest cooperation. The Hindu would be wear tradition garb and would contribute the long lengths of cloth. In the end, the Christian would offer to be the last one down and th agnostic would help steady the "rope".

On the ground the Christian would say "Thank God for miraculously rescuing us!"

Edit:
I did it with only a "small" poke at the Christian and hopeful no offense to anyone, except the Muslim whom I unintentionally forgot.

Love the other answers though.

well, here's how it would go.

The Buddhist, Taoist, Hindu, and the Atheists would all sit back and enjoy while the Jew, Christian, and Muslim duked it out. When the Christian won (sorry guys) he would try to convert the Hindu- and thus get thrown off the roof. The Hindu would go sit with the rest, then joke with everyone about how much of a waste of time all that was.

First off, the Muslim would blame the Jew for starting the fire when it was really the Christian who started it.

The Jew would then wander the rooftop randomly until he realized that the building, while burning, told him it was the alpha and the omega, etc etc

The Christian would see an image of the Virgin Mary in the smoke and get down on his knees and praise Jesus.

The Buddhist would detach himself from the material world and simply float to the ground while his body burned above.

The Taoist would get burned by trying to be like water and bending around the fire.

The Hindu would prepare a lavish puja and ask the fire to hold on before burning the building because he forgot a coconut.

The atheists and agnostics would use the fire escape.

the Muslim would have died already in the initial blast that started the fire. while preoccupied with trying to convert the others, the Christian would not have noticed the falling burning beam that landed on him. the Hindu would have died peacefully in meditation after having joked with the others about what he and they were all going to be in their next lives. the Taoist and Buddhist would have perhaps taken the preferred alternative of jumping from the building rather than burn to death. the Jew would promise the atheist a large sum of money to help him escape safely.

did i offend everyone with this one? i hope so, lol.

They would all die and the results would be:
The Buddhist has no idea where they are going.
The Atheist has no idea where they are going.
The Hindu has no idea where they are going.
The Muslim has no idea where they are going.
The Christian goes to heaven, as he is the only one has that assurance from Christ! He has risen, the rest have not!

Isn't that the real question we need to answer, where are you going after you die?

All Krishna's, Buddha's, Mohamed and all scientific atheist are all dead and buried and we can visit their graves.
Christ is has risen!
Check it out for yourself, it could just save your life! Eternity is a very long time.

The Hindu, Buddhist and Taosit would survive because they have brain cells and would probbaly have excellent teamwork skills with each other while the others would be too busy fighting with each other.

This sounds like an extraordinarily dangerous question, but I can't figure how it would violate the Community Guidelines, so with fear and trembling, I will watch to see what sorts of answers you get. Me? I wouldn't presume to predict.
