Very well said, and a timely message, not only for atheists, but for all non-Christians (i.e. followers of Satan).

Many will not do anything. The word says people will be decieved by the antichrist. So they'll be so caught up in deception they wont recognize the voice of the Lord. And notice all the answers they gave you were not what you were looking for. All they did was nit pick at you. B/c alot of them wont let their mind grasp the truth b/c of the fear that is in their hearts.. They ask theirselves what if he's right??? What if all this is true???? What if their is a God. And you know and I know there is one... They do too but their just consumed with themselves and the world and they dont want to give their lives over to someone.. Their in a "comfort" zone and as long as they are "confortable" believing in no God then they dont have to answer to anyone or think about the after life... Or so they think.......

Stop being an atheist. Duh.

IF that happens then there would be reasonable evidence that God does exist. Nearly all the atheists I have seen on this board have said that if reasonable evidence was provided they would believe in a god.

But that is a real big IF.

Up to now you have nothing that supports your version of god beyond that which supports all the other hundreds of versions of other gods.

You waving your little book at us does not make it real. It just makes you look like you are desperate to reinforce your personal delusions.

So forgive me if I don't hold my breath while we wait for this to come to pass.

The funny is that I dont know a single atheist who would take a mark from a leader. All the ones I know tend to be malcontents who dont trust organized groups that brainwash whether they be secular or religious.

I guess that puts us up there with the angels that refused to take a side though, eh?

As Atheists we tend to not 'follow' any one.

Except possibly The Grateful Dead, but that was years ago.

We don't believe in god(s) so naturally anything supposedly written by your god is equally meaningless.

I suppose I will use my own intellect to decide what to do. Anyone who would try and force me to take a mark is barking up the wrong tree. I'm not into tatoos.

YOU KNOW, YOU CAN WRITE DOWN "JUST" ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVENTUALLY IT WILL COME TRUE. THE SAME WAY THEY TAKE NOSTRODAMAS AND OTHER ORACLES AND MAKE THOSE PROPHETIC VISIONS FIT JUST ABOUT ANYTHING IN HISTORY. YOU ARE TAKING YOUR INFORMATION FROM REVELATIONS, A BOOK THAT WAS WRITTEN IN "APOCOLYPTIC" STYLE, THE SAME WAY GEORGE ORWELL WROTE ANIMAL FARM AGAINST CORRUPT RUSSIA. JOHN COULDN'T COME RIGHT OUT AND SPEAK AGAINST ROME, WHO HAD HIM CAPTIVE ON AN ISLAND, SO HE WROTE REVELATIONS, TO REVEAL OR PULL BACK THE CURTAIN ON ROMANS, WITHOUT COMING RIGHT OUT AND SAYING WHAT HE HAD TO SAY. REVELATIONS IS NOT A VISION OF THE FUTURE, RATHER A LOOK INTO THE PAST AT THE ROMAN CULTURE. BUT YOU BELIEVE WHATEVER YOU NEED TO GET YOU THROUGH YOUR DAY BUDDY.

Do you have any evidence that this scenario will actually happen? Or are you assuming that a book with about as much verifiable evidence as Harry Potter is actually true?

I'll make a deal with you. If Tim Lehaye's fantasy land adventure comes to pass, I'll convert to Christianity. Until then, I'll continue to laugh at the crazy stuff you've swallowed hook line and sinker. Sound fair?

How come questions directed at atheists are either addressed to "athiests" or "atheist" (singular)?
