If they are following the Jeff Foxworthy Courtesy Sniff Law, it depends on when the courtesy sniff comes due.
Person A relieves gas and makes a comment along the lines of “Oh wow this is bad”. Person B comes in and smells it, after hearing Person A saying that. This will leave Person A in debt to Person B for one courtesy sniff. Now if you have ever driven down the road and noticed a person (A) with the window down and the other person (B) laughing, person (B) had cashed in his/her courtesy sniff.

I've been with my husband for 7 years- married for 3, and I've still never farted in front of him. Weird, huh!? I just don't feel comfortable. My sister though farts, burps, spits, etc.. in front of her boyfriends pretty quick into the relationship, and they really don't seem to mind, They seem to actually compete or something.

never! if you want to stay with that guy that is,
see its one thing after another and you wonder why some guys eventually lose interest in their partners, 1st its a wee fart here, and then another one there, then its peeing next to you when your having a shave...some things are best kept private, we say it doesnt bother us but it does,
the smell may only linger a few minutes but the memory can last years...

I used to go long periods of time w/o doing it and one day he was like "what is wrong with you!! Ur gonna die soon if you dont let it out."
Now I just do it whenever I feel. Sometimes he rolls his eyes @ me but Its a natural bodily function.
It may take some time b4 you are comfortable doing it, but I'd say you'd better start doing it soon. LOL

The first time you need to fart... do it. Its a natural body function and if for some reason he is offended... well then he must not be much of a man since all men fart too.
