my date picked me up and told me he wanted to go somewhere special..... i was blown away when he took me to a junkyard! he made me get car parts with him, held my hand with his greasy one and said "I love a greasy woman" and tried to propose............ should i say yes cause he was being sweet?

lol your "date" proposed to you??? omg I can't believe you are even asking "should i say yes".. Obviously your not mature enough to handle the proposal, greasy or not. In a few years you'll probably have a good laugh about it, but for now... if your not into him move on to someone different, your obviously young, you have your whole young adult life ahead of you, so good luck... maybe carry some hand sanitizer around in your purse if you plan on "accepting the proposal"

Don't accept his proposal just because he asked. If you hate being a "greasy woman", and that is what he wants, then you will both be unhappy in the long run.

For one thing you didn't love him enough to say yes on the spot and that's not a good sign. Secondly what exactly is "sweet" about what he did?
Lastly, a proposal is about what YOU like because he is trying to lure YOU into marriage.

no, firstly add how old you are so people can answer the question with a different point of view! also dnt say yes if u dont want to jst cos he is being sweet (junk yard) i dnt call that sweet, but if u are in love and have known him for a long time then its up to you, otheriwse no!

It may have been his dream date, but maybe not yours...maybe you're too different. he was being sweet, but wouldn't you want a little bit more when you are being asked to get married? How's the wedding going to be? Or the anniversaries gonna be celebrated?
