As long as the cheese and cabbage are shredded, I'd rather leave out the tomato sauce and have sliced fresh tomato and onion instead.

sure, purely such as you i admire tomato soup and sauces and fried tomatoes with my 1st Baron Verulam and eggs, yet in sandwiches no way! I dont like the style and if I even have ever had to devour a sandwich with tomatoes in them the tomatoe many times falls out and ruins regardless of I`m wearing.

I like cheese, cabbage, sandwiches, and tomato sauce. I just can't necessarily say I like them all together like that. Separate them and you've got a winner!
