Scotch bonnet chillis are the hottest you can get, they sell them in Sainsburys or fresh & wild stores, more than likely tescos and asda too, but don't take my word for it.
edit; Piri piri are no hotter than normal chillis they are just concentrated for peri peri sauce.

I buy hot chilli oil (small bottle with chilli seeds in it) from my local Chinese supermarket. Use it on spring rolls etc. Not for the faint hearted!! Where do you live? Not everyone is lucky to have an Asian/Indonesian outlet to purchase Eastern goodies from, but if you are able to get to the NCR there is a Wing Yip (already mentioned) near Brent X shopping centre.

Hot Chilli - if it was earlier in the season you could have bought fresh hot chilli in the veg section at Tescos and saved some of the seeds to grow your own plants that will grow enough hot chilli to last you all year. Hot Hot Hot.

The hottest type of chilli is the peri-peri (or piri-piri) chilli
It is about 3000 times hotter than normal chillis

Dunno - but i reckon it might be the Habanero - there is a unit of heat for chillies called the 'scoville' - i read many years ago about an annual chilli competition held in mexico or somewhere...and the attendee had a spoon of this chilli and passed out - when he came to - he though he had suffered a stroke...I was laughing my *** off - now thats extreme food!

Scotch bonnet. Careful. Blow your head off time. If attacked do not drink water but use milk to cool down.
