Maxim is fine to send. While pornography is prohibited it can be a little hard to tell what qualifies. A good way to tell is if you can buy a movie or magazine in the PX (if you aren't from a military community then use Walmart as your guide) it is not prohibited.

Maxim is ok..actually they were doing photos at one points of military in Iraq holding up the magazine!
It is illegal to ship pornographic materials to deployed members (things like Penthouse or 'Debbie Does Dallas"). With movies it is always best to check with your soldier first as some areas have stricter prohibitions than others.

Maxims will be fine. I don't know if they're doing it anymore, but Maxim was actually encouraging people to send their old issues over to the guys in Iraq and Afghanistan ("Operation Hottie Drop")
So yeah, they'll be okay. And the guys over there will appreciate it!

Nope, I sent all my buddies Maxims and Stuff. You can send almost anything; just use good common sense. If that's not good enough, someone on the receiving end other than your intended recipient will do it for you.
