my wife is in australia & she is a permenant resident of australia, i am in india n now preaparing my file for TR (temporary residence) n iam asked to submit medical report n police clearance.
I stay in Hyderabad since 6 months n my passport is issued by bangalore passport office as i was born n brought in bangalore but now permenantly relocated to hyderabad.
for police clearance i need to submit my passport along with the form to the nearest passport office n they will send it to my nearest police station, n xyz,xyz
What i want to know is as my passport is issued by karnataka office what should i do ? should i submit my passport in hyderabad pasport office or bangalore passport office ?
Can someone explain me the process of police verification if the passport is of different state ?

Common sense suggests that the papers and all relevant documents should be submitted to the authority in the normal place of your residence which is Hyderabad! However, you never know how the mind of the officials works!
