Hell no...if it were true, then why do I keep doing them? Now that's just silly.

When I hear christian tort off "accept jesus as your only savior,"- it makes me want to run out of the room screaming b/c that means you already failed. Really, it's the lazy man's way out. Try to study the dozens and dozens if not hundreds of sages who are said to have resurrected before Jesus ever came along.

*NOTE* in order not to come off looking like the bad guy, here is what I really think:

Jesus died and resurrected as an example to show what our true potential was. He taught John to raise Lazuras from the dead...and he did. Lazuras further went on to do the same with others- the key point here is that this information is transferable. What Jesus can do, we can do and more.

No. I KNOW that Jesus died on the cross for me.

Colossians 2:14-15
...having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Just an old story - and it wasn't even original at the time.

Nobody has ever provided any evidence that any gods, much less a specific god, exist. People believe in specific gods because of indoctrination from an early age, tradition, hallucinations, fear of torture (for gods sadistic enough to threaten it) and other similarly illogical reasons. But no gods exist in reality; these are all stories, created for people who were scared of the world long before we understood it. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.
