I will have an option to fly with either Korean Air, China Airlines, or EVA Air for a trip to Asia. Korean will have a stop over in Inchon while China and EVA will have stop over in Taipei. Which airlines do you think will be able to offer the best flight and the better airport to stop over? Thanks.

Depending on your final destination. I have been on all three airlines. EVA is the best among the three you have listed. Korean and China Airlines have the highest insurance premium in the industry. How insurance premium is assessed by number of accidents, maintenance facilities in various countries, maintenance certificates, training etc. Aside from these, among the three EVA has the best on board service, next is Korean. I will not fly China Airlines if it is the only airline left. I would rather take a boat. China Airlines service is bad. EVA also has a economy deluxe class where the seat is slightly wider and has more leg room. Normally, there are 12 to 13 economy seats across, but economy deluxe class is 8 across. The price is slightly higher than economy class by about two to four hundred dollars depending on the season.

Have you considered Cathay Pacific, Singapore, Malaysia, and Asiana?

China Air and China Eastern are great airlines. I would NEVER fly JAL again. Service was terrible, flight attendants were rude. It was a nightmare from start to finish. There was a young woman from NZ on the flight who ended up yelling at the JAL staff - announcements were made all in Japanese, they changed boarding rooms SIX times and not one English announcement, served raw eel on a flight with 200 teachers from Canada - I mean come on they knew how many non-Japanese people were going to be on board. Flights were delayed until the plane could be filled -- we were three hours late taking off - stood in a line up at 6 AM at our hotel for over an hour to "check in" before leaving for the airport, they closed the line with a dozen people STILL not checked in and an hour to flight time and the last airporter to the airport had left -- everyone had to scramble for taxis. DONT fly JAL, Dragon Air is just fantastic too when you are in China, cant say enough good things about them and their flight attendants ! I would do a commercial for them for free, they are so great.

After that incident in Japan with a China Airline flight, i would stay away from for a while.

I think EVA airline is the best option here.

I have flown all 3. They are similar. The new Korean airport at Inchon is beautiful.
I would go by the best schedule and connections.
