Well, It depends on what you're doing--Is this a new diet you're trying out? A fast? A thing you've been doing for years? I would say ask your nutritionist, or Dr. or whoever it is that handles this sort of thing--If they were the ones who gave you this sort of diet I'd ask around and see if it's correct for you. I wouldn't do it unless there was a very good reason--I'm a fish and chips kind of girl. I'd say have lunch, have dinner, and make sure you're getting your daily nutrients--citrus juice, meat , and different vitamin's that give your body what you need. You don't want to give your body too much of one thing-you need a balance. I checked out this book from the library that I think might help you-it is me- and if not, find a nutrition book of your own that will fit your needs. The Best You Can Be: A Teen's Guide to Health and Nutrition (The Science of Health:Youth and Well-Being) And the web site link at the bottom for more details about specifics. Check it out! Not only is your reported diet irresponsible, it would be damaging to your health.

If you truly think this is the way people should eat, you are severely deluded and need some serious help and guidance. This is not even a healthy diet for someone trying to lose weight.

Try following a diet consisting of colorful meals from all the food groups, in recommended portions and servings per day.

Cora's advice below is right on and smart, try that. She likes fish and chips, she knows what she's talking about.

looks like you are eating 6 servings out of the recommended 5 to 12 from the bread and cereals group,

0 from the recommended 5 to 10 veggies and fruit category,

0 from the recommended 2 to 4 from the dairy group,

0 from the 2 to 3 meat / egg / fish / nut group.

If you are an adult average height, the recommended caloric intake is around 1500 to 2000. Your diet looks like about 600 calories max.

A doctor would probably check your Body Mass Index, and steer you into the 20 to 25 range.

You can calculate your BMI by taking your weight in kg and dividing by your height in metres, then divide by your height again.

Stop this IDIOCY NOW!!

You are a growing girl, and you are active, and NOT overweight. Your exercising is great, but you should be taking in 1600 calories a day. You should be taking in plenty of protein--your exercising won't build your muscles unless you have protein in your system. Where's your vitamins & fiber? Does your mom know you're doing this?

I understand that you want to look buff and slim, but you're on a major growth spurt. And I have never seen anyone (who eats normally) who is stays during and after their growing stage.

If you feel you're overweight at 19 or 20, then you can start dieting. Until then, you need to nourish your body so it can grow and be healthy.

Aim for at least 5 fruit and vegetable portions a day.
Try to eat a variety and remember you can choose from all these: bread, breakfast cereals, chappattis, oats, pasta, noodles, rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, dishes made from maize millet and cornmeal, plantains, green bananas, beans and lentils. Choose wholegrain, wholemeal, brown or 'high fibre' varieties wherever you can. Aim to eat at least 2 portions of fish a week, one of which should be oily such as sardines or salmon. Don't eat to much meat but do eat it.Eat moderate amounts of dairy products.Aim to drink at least 6-8 cups of water a day.
Aim to eat a large starchy breakfast e.g porridge. Then have a apple or a fruit smoothie for a snack. Then for supper eat a moderate sized meal caontaining 2 vegatables and one piece of protein (fish, chicken, quorn-vegatarians).
keep up the good excerise but don't over-excercise.

sorry honey, but you sound like a prisoner...bread and water. if god has blessed you with food then be thankful and eat it, you are killing yourself and causing your body a lot of problems, that may not be seen now, but will show up later. what are you trying to prove....people don't look good when they are anorexic, it looks bad and is unhealthy, people need a little meat on their bones. 2 of my sisters are about 90 lbs. and they are in their mid-forties, it looks so bad, and i tell them, i also remind them that they are killing themselves, they always take diet pills, because they feel fat. it's really sad...you would think that grown women would have enough sense to take care of themselves better. please try and stop this behavior before it gets out of hand and becomes a full eating disorder, go see a doctor. good luck and god bless.

i would lecture you about not eating, because missing two meals a day isn't healthy, but if you really don't feel like eating, just stuff yourself with healthy snacks i guess. My friend doesn't eat lunch and she's fine, but i recommend you eat a filling lunch, but a small dinner. Usually that's what people do if they're losing weight, but i guess it's healthy....?

So you are taking in about 500 calories a day? You burn that just sitting in school, so where are the other ones coming from? For a while it will be fat, then muscle mass, then your organs. Seriously, eat more!

Yes you are burning more than you eat, but I think the nutritional value is very low. I suggest taking some food supplements to prevent malnutrition.

Your eating nothing but carbs, and for that not even enough of them. You need to add fruits, veggies, lean protien if you want any of the the effects of going to the gym!
