I had a couple of moles removed on last Tuesday and had three stitches on my belly, which are still giving me a little discomfort. Would it be safe in a day or two to do some cardiovascular exercise. I am having them removed next Tuesday. Am just a bit worried they may split!!!!

as long as you are not bending over or stretching the skin, then the stitches should hold. Why not just use a treadmill, or go for long walks for this week?

Dont risk it, you can surely wait until next tue evening to catch up on your exercising. You may split the stitches, and the wounds, and end up having more, which means you may have to wait longer to exercise. Take a few days off, you can catch up next week. Its not worth the discomfort and possible agony if you have to start all over again with the stitches and healing of the wounds.

Your first thought is usually the right one. Not a good idea to do anything until they are removed. It's not worth it. If you split a stitch you risk getting it infected and then it would go on for ages before it would be healed properly. Surely a couple of days not going to be too hard!!

Leave it until you've had the stitches removed. Too much stretching and the stitches themselves could tear the skin, causing a new wound (if only a small one).

Wait until they are removed. If it's on your belly, you might be alright to exercise on a bike for your cardio. If you can do something without straining the area, go ahead. Be careful though, your doctor probably gave you advice - do that.
