I am running for a local position on the school board, and need to pay for post cards and lawn signs... I have been fund raising, but don't have enough money for stamps.

No. Political marketing campaign donations are in no way tax deductible, the two as a corporation price or an itemized schedule A deduction. as a result the "cap" is $0 in case you opt to look at it that way.
