You can try other forms of dairy. My daughter loves yogurt, cottage cheese, and cheese. There is nothing wrong with getting 100% of her dairy this way.
Not every child likes milk. We could not get our daughter to like milk until she was 2 years old. We just kept giving it to her. What finally worked with us was my husband would get himself a cup of milk. Then he would get a straw for her. He would drink some, then offer it to her. It took about to weeks before she began to like it. It was OK for her to drink it, because it was "daddy's" milk. So, that made it sooo much better. (gotta love a toddlers mind) She still does not drink a ton of milk, but she gets some. Just make sure you use the most natural organic type of milk you can find.

Cow's milk is actually terrible for humans to drink, so it may be that your daughter's body is telling her that it is bad for her. There are so many antibiotics and microorganisms in it, I don't know why anybody would want to drink it. Try other kinds of milk. Give her rice milk, or soy milk. The sweeter taste of it might be more pleasing to her palate, and she'll still get the protein she needs without any of the growth hormones, antibiotics, etc. Good luck!

my oh my. Well, there really isn't alot you can do. My son had some bad chocolate pudding and he won't touch chocolate. Did you daughter have some kind of experience with bad milk? If she smelled sour milk, that can make them think all milk is sour. You could try Soy Milk or flavored milk *chocolate or strawberry* I hope someone can answer that question for you. My kids *16 and 13* don't drink near enough milk.

Two thoughts:
It may not be the taste as much as the texture. Stir in a little rice-cereal to thicken it.
As a child I did not like milk, found difficulty drinking it. As it turned out, I was allergic to cow's milk. Our body will often tell us before any tests are done.

You can't make her like milk. I was allergic to milk and had to drink soy when I was a baby. My baby likes soy now. I think it's much healthier anyhow, better than all those antibiotics in cow's milk.

does your daughter eat cereal? like cheerios? Try giving her cereal with the cow milk so she can get use to it, and try putting a little sugar in it also. Thats how I got my daughter to like it. Or see if she'll drink chocolate milk.

(molten_orange) There is other kinds of milk that don't have growth hormones in it like organic milk. Try putting it in cereal or some other place unnoticable. Do your best but if she doesn't like it, she doesn't like it! Nothing you can do!
