As long as it didn't specify which god was being referred to?

Why or why not?

Just to clarify, I'm not for it. I have this crazy "separation of church and state" idea.

well since most people consider money to be their god, and the dollar has no form of hard backing to support it other than the full faith of the US government than, no, i wouldn't mind. the dollar is pretty much worthless and any value it has isn't real either. next question.

besides dude, if god isn't real to you than why would you care in the first place if his existence was stated on the currency? what if the money had elves or dragons on it? go on with your life and get over it. quit feeling like the victim of some plot.

I wouldn't like that at all personally, because advertising such a thing anywhere at all is just silly. BUT, I have to say money is not of God - so that would speak for itself - it is man made and a material thing humans use or abuse. Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's. Dishonest and unfair use of money constitutes evil. Money is the root of much temptation to do evil. Even so, silly advertisements are irritating. I'm sure you could put it on a billboard for a few bucks.

I would not like it. I like it when it says " In God we trust".

But I support the separation of the belief system and the state. I would go for " Love one another "

I would mind, but simply because I'm with you on the whole "separation of church & state" thing as well.

Now, I'm all for it being on peoples bumper stickers and T-shirts.

I think they should print "THIS IS YOUR GOD" in big, bold letters on every bill.

That would be awesome.

But having "God isn't real" on them would be almost as good.

I still miss the Mounties on the $50 though.

I think it would be equally fair to putting "In God We Trust".

However, it would be much more appropriate to not put any religious references on our money.

I'm an atheist and it may surprise you but no I don't like that idea. I think it's kinda disrespectful. I would much rather if they just didn't put anything about god anywhere on it. It's money, WTF does anyone's god have to do with it?

Yes. No mention of god should be on the money of any country.

I wouldn't mind. Honesty in government is a good thing.

no, that would be stupid. There should be no mention of a god on money at all. positive or negative.
