i personally believe that it is a sin. The Bible says many times in Proverbs that words should heal and bring up people, not hurt of bring them down. As for betrayal... when you give your word and go back on it, that is lying and lying is a sin and that means betrayal is a sin too.

It does not promote friendly human relations, but if the person was sincerely apologetic, yes I could forgive them.* I don't know if you could regard it as a sin.* To err is human, to forgive is divine.*

yep it is,,,,because betrayling som1 endz up hertin som1, and if you want to have a gd character than dont hert others.....and for gossip it is a sin because it is useless talk and while gossiping u can end saying baad things abt a person, so saying baad things abt a person; like calling a person nasty names it is a BIG sin....the best talk is the talk of giving knowledge
