Have you not read any of these questions here? Everyone here is looking for help or is asking for advice, you on the other hand come here asking for someone to participate in a one on one with you, right? Just answer the questions and give your opinion if you truely want to help people... It is nice you are offeing your services to those of us here but you are a student so you added and using others for your gain makes people feel worse. lol -can I be helped you wouldn't even know where to begin with me sister sorry and most therapist and the best I've seen haven't been able to help what makes you different?

If you are just there to listen then well done...you provide a service most forums do..still nice to hear that there are people out there to lend an ear..
However..if you are gonna start handing out advice and councilling then there is a catch..what makes you qualified to do so??? how can anyone believe you are genuine..you could just be some creep trying to take advantage of emotionally unstable kids..
if you are sincere then go ahead and try help as much as you want..but we will never know will we..

Why is it you wanna give advice? is it so you may feel your problems aren't as bad as others? is that your intentions?
I also like go give advice but I share my problems so they know I can relate to them....Getting advice from someone who knows nothing about the situation is a waste of time.

If you are genuinely concerned with helping people pursue a degree in a helping profession. And continue answering the questions people post. In the mean time, please remember that offering to help someone on line is very noble but you aren't a licensed professional and you are opening yourself up for more than you can possibly realize by giving people personal information such as your e mail address etc. It is very difficult to deal with people when they are depressed, suicidal etc. you never know when you are dealing with someone who is telling the truth or not.....how would you feel if someone you were talking to ended up trying to kill themselves or stalking you ?
Please be careful....

Lucy. You are just a college kid. It's nice that you want to help people but you CANNOT give advice because you don't know anything yet. You are way too young.
If you really want to help people, then study to be a LICENSED counselor or therapist. Someone who is trained and knows what they're talking about. Right now, giving advice can (and probably will) actually hurt the person you are trying to help. I know you wouldn't mean it, but you are too young to give advice.
Check at your college about psychology and psychiatry classes.

This is a very kind thing to offer. If you scan through the mental health posts, I'm sure you'll find numerous people that can use your help.

I have lots of problems and don't know where to turn . . . but wonder if coming to you will do anything for me. I have considered going and seeking help, but have always came back to the conclusion that no one could help me but me.
