Palm reading, crystal, tarot etc?

Hi - Ok to some extent I do believe that there may be some sort of medium/psychic ability of some people - but can they really see into the future in as much depth as they say? - how do dead people know what will and won't happen? And palm reading - is it just a load of nonsense? Same question for tarot cards and all the other stuff?

I think that the idea of people being able to see the future is sad because it assumes that our choices are already made for us. I like the idea that I am in control of my future and I can change things, or create opportunities if I need to.

No, seeing "into the future" only gives glimpses of images... and those have to be sorted out and interpreted (which could end up being terribly wrong or the interpretation actually cause what one was seeing). Palm reading, I think there may be something to it, though I don't think it's anything like what you see at fairs, etc. I'm not that knowledgeable on Palm reading so I can't say for sure. Tarot cards aren't really divinatory, they don't tell the future... many use them more as a way to collect their thoughts on a problem and to put them in order so that they can deal with the problem, or give them insight to themselves. It's kind of like sitting down and writing out pros/cons and then writing a list of "what could happen". Mediums normally contact the dead for others, most of the time to find things the dead have left behind or to deliver a message to the living... it's not used to fortell the future (though I have seen many "psychics" use it this way).

You have to be VERY careful when dealing with psychics. The first tip off that one is a con-artist is when they ask "When's your birthday? Where were you born?" The best thing to do is say "If you're psychic, why do you ask?" Many of those kinds of psychics use the generalized horoscopes in order to get information that, if you look through all of them, could be applied to most anyone. And a psychic knows that if you are seeking a "psychic" then it's usually because you're looking for love (talk about the wrong place to look), someone died and you want to speak with them, you've lost an item of importance or you want to know if you'll get that good job... etc... These are basic things Everyone wonders about and they use that to their advantage.

As far as Palm reading is concerned, its best used for health purposes, the lines in your hands change so much, but those who know how to read the lines in your hand can tell you if you're having a problem with you liver, months before a doctor could detect whats wrong.
Crystal again are something that can be used as health purposes. We use crystals everyday, in our watches, cellphones, and TV's. You can use a crystal to transfer your headache or any injury for that matter out of your body and into the crystal.
As far as Tarot reading, it really just depends on how good the person is at translating the cards. It also depends on what the cards want to tell you. Some readings just talk about things that have already happen, but are still relevant in peoples lives. I read one lady's cards who was asking about her job, if she was going to receive a buyout. We asked the same question in many different readings, each time the cards said no, and they were right. Everyone but her received a buyout. I always tell my clients to take the readings with a grain of salt. So to answer your question, no its not just a load of nonsense, and to everyone who thinks I am dealing with Satan, I'd like to assure you that I am NOT. I know what I am doing.

The future isn't written in stone, and the idea that being dead means you'll know everything is false. I've never had much luck with palm reading myself, and tarot cards are a reflection of the present and how the present is impacting the future, not the future itself.

Here's my take - I have no problem believing that some people get impressions, visions etc. My argument is that they don't necessarily know how to interpret them, because as in dreams, these things often express themselves in metaphors.

For example, in my senior year in college my Mom went to a reader and was told I was pregnant. I most certainly was not, but nothing I could say to her would make her believe me. I do know that in dream-language, pregnancy often means the beginning of a creative project, and I WAS starting to attempt to write a book.

I was pretty mad my Mom kept taking this psychic's word over mine (who had the reality), so I've never forgotten this. The psychic wasn't wrong in what she received, she just interpreted it completely wrong.

I also think there are infinite futures to choose from and nothing's set in stone, so I never believe predictions either. Other psychics were totally wrong about both the genders of my children and their names and when they were born.

Some people have the power of divination by which they can tell you things about your past which only you could know. This is done through familiar spirits (demonic powers). No human can tell the future - although true psychics can often make a good guess. Stay away from it - it's a load of trouble.

I think it is very dangerous to play with the spirit world in this way. If you are confused about what to believe that is OK but coming from experience there is reality to all of this and some of it is pure evil. Understand that there is a spiritual warfare going on and to mix these things in one home could be a mistake that you may not even understand until it is way too late, God blees you on your journey

ok fortune telling normally works like this.. they start off by telling some incident that happened years ago, how they know this is, just like every christian has an gaurdian angel, every person on this earth has a fimiliar family spirit. this spirit knows evrything bout your history and your family's history, so that how they know that... when it comes to the future they give you some details and you start to believe and you start to live it and make it happen yourself, same with tarrot card reading... seances, wel thats nothing but takling to demons, cause the bible is very clear bout this and says that once you die your spirit will no longer dwell on this earth, but go to heaven or hell... so this fimiliar spirit/demon speaks to you and gives you bunch of nonsence info and you start to make it happen... it's nothing else but witchcraft!!!!!!!!!!
