Hi New Moon,
39% best answers and level 2 in one day. Wow! That's a good enough excuse for not doing what you were supposed to be doing, at least for the moment! You've got a lot of catching up to do AND you're doing it rapidly!!
Now let's see what excuses I could use ... well if I'm supposed to go somewhere I don't want to go to I could always say my hubbie's using the car (we live miles away from any where so can't get far without transport) but then again that won't wash at the moment because we've got our son's car here.
Another excuse ... the dog's desperate to go outside so must take her for a walk first and if it's a phone call I don't want to take I'm in the bath (though I think other people are starting to get suspicious about the amount of time I spend in there ... only joking, doesn't happen often!) The unwanted phone calls I mean.
Have a good day,
Polly

Moon, I learned a long time ago that an excuse is nothing more than a lie to avoid taking responsibility for doing or NOT doing something. so, accordinlgy, I clearly state that I have NO excuse for not doing what I should be doing. I simply didn't feel like doing it. Let the chips fall where they may.

My excuse is that I'm on here. I'm only ignoring perpetual housework, it will never go away so I'm not to concerned. I should be out enjoying one of the last nice days of summer. You have a wonderful weekend too.

I pretty much do what I am supposed to be doing. If not, usually, just say I'm too tired, or I'm just taking a break haha.

When it comes to doing stuff at home, I don't need to have an excuse. I just say I will do it later.

*chuckle*

Excuses? We don't need no dam excuses!

When I choose to spend my time doing something other than what I "should" be doing, I don't make excuses. I acknowledge that I'm choosing to do what I do, and to not do what I am not doing.

No excuses required. I frequently tell people "I don't feel like doing that", and that's all I offer as an explanation.

My watch isn't working properly. It stops most of the time so I missed the things I should have done! Ha-ha-ha! What an excuse.
