They have knocked on my doors repeatedly, even as I am a member. I always share a cold glass of lemonade with them (and any missionary from other church's as well).
If you want to have the missionaries come by,.you can ask for it at www.mormon.org

I knocked on many doors as a "Mormon" missionary, my oldest son now is doing that as well.
I will look for a web site or phone number you can use to request missionaries to visit you, and update this posting with it soon.
The second link in the source list you can request a free bible or book of mormon, these are normally delivered by missionaries and will bring them to your door if requested.

I've noticed that some people see the missionaries all over the place, and others have never seen them. I would suggest that you take the initiative and use the websites provided by B Jones to meet with them. They would love to talk with you.

I have them over for dinner at least once per month. I am sure there is an LDS church near you. Look it up in your phone directory and ask for the missionaries. Attend a Sacrament Service on a Sunday morning. There will be welcome arms and loving smiles to greet you and answer all your questions.

whilst i advance into in Brazil we used to take a member with us to knock on doorways because of the fact the persons have been extra prepared to talk to a minimum of considered one of their very own fairly than to the yankee strangers. It advance into plenty extra trouble-free to get into the residences if we took a Brazilian with us. right here in California, i've got not seen them do this very plenty different than with the Priest, who would bypass on splits with the missionaries as a undertaking education workout. whilst the missionaries bypass on splits with participants in this section, they accomplish that with a view to fill extra conferences in one night. each and every from time to time meaning going to much less energetic participants to motivate them to take the instructions back or purely to help them bear in mind the sensation that they had whilst they joined the church interior the 1st place.

I took my name off their church records, but my son has not, so every year they send the next rotation of missionaries to my door to talk to my son, they even said that they were from my son's church, and my son goes to a non-denominational church now. I even told them I moved and they are still sending missionaries out to talk to my son, one set of missionaries, corned my son and told him he was suppose to be going to be going to church, man, if I had been there, I would have told them off.

They always knock on our door. I just tell them that I am not interested in joining their cult but that I have some gold plates that I found in upstate New York and some magical glasses that are needed to decipher them. I love the look on their faces!

I was involved in mormonism. This is something that I would recommend that you not become involved in. The people are wonderful, it is just their message that is deceiving.
