There are radical groups all over the world and you can find someone who will protest against almost anything. Don't think Mormons are singled out. More people around the world have condemned Christians in the last 2000 years than any other religion. True Christians do not hate anyone. I wish I could say the same for all the other religions in the world.
Always consider the source, forgive them, and move on.

I don't feel that Christians dislike anyone. We may not agree but we don't dislike. There are a few out there from every religion who dislike everyone from other religions. Those are the nutty ones straight across the board that you have to watch out for. The message of Christianity is peace, love, and Jesus. Just like the parable of the good Samaritan. If you know a Christian who dislikes anyone then maybe they need to take a look at their Christianity and reevaluate Christ's place in their lives.

Dislike may be a little strong. I think there’s some fraction, if you will, because of The Book of Mormon, which to many Christians adds to God’s Word. Christians are not suppose to add to or take away from the Word.

That is a hard question to answer. It seems so ironic that those who say they do not dislike Mormons, yet come to the Mormon General Conference and stand on the street corners, profaning and desecrating everything held dear by Mormons, and then say that they do this because they "love" Mormons and want to steer them to the "right" way.

It is a no brainer to me that this type of "love" and "concern" is authored by the devil. All it takes is to go inside the Mormon Conference Center, listen to the sermons of love, compassion, Christ-like service to our fellow men, and so on and so on. Then go outside of the meeting hall and hear all of the bucolic hatred being spewed by the anti-Mormons.

It is a no brainer which message I choose to listen to. That message is one shared by humble, holy men of God who lead the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints according to God's word found in the Bible.

I think most Christians don't understand Mormon's. Their beliefs are in the same area as Catholics in my opinion, The sainthood is expanded into modern time. They decide among their leaders who is good enough to have special pronouncements bestowed on them such as Mother Teressa and Brigham Young. We [me] at least turn only to the trinity for our guidance, We go directly to the source ,My grandmother was Mormon and although everyone under heaven is in titled to their own beliefs mine are in Christ alone

True Christians do like mormon people. It is just that we believe that you have been lead astray, just like you believe that other Christians do not have the full truth. We love everyone though, whether they bellieve or not. They demonstrate in the same way that you like to go door to door.

Don't most people in general hate the Mormons? We'd like them more if they didn't unleash Donnie Osmond on us.

As a member of the Church of the SubGenius, it's my God given right, no, my duty, as instructed by Jehovah-1, to cast out all false prophets and false profits.

"For I speak only the f*cking Truth, and never in my days have I spoken other than! For my every utterance is a lie, including this very one you hear! I say, `F*ck'em if they can't take a joke!' By God, `Anything for a laugh'"

Same reason they do at JW events. To try and save peoples souls from false prophets and religions. Not that I've ever done it or even condone it, demonstrating is more likely to 'prove' to people that theirs is the one true religion than save them. I know JW's see it as one of the signs of the times, being persecuted is one of the things that reaffirms their belief that they are Gods' chosen people. We are all responsible for our own spirituality and it is for God to judge those who are misled, not us mere mortals.

Because they are ignorant. On a serious note, born agains believe that the Mormons are satanic. That we worship Lucifer or something like that. Well, I believe in Jesus Christ and I pray in His name everyday. I worship a Heavenly Father and only Him. It is really sad to think that some Christians can be so swayed so easily.
