Feona: how young? Once they pass through "parallel play" they'll start smacking each other around for doing what "comes naturally", just to assert their control over the play environment. Watch some 4-5 year olds play. I don't mean to be cynical or dismissive here, but I've worked with enough young children to have observed contradictions to your claim.

Sociopaths are said to have a defect in their limbic systems, at the center of the brain, which has to do with survival mechanisms & sexual desire. They are said to be unable to form emotional attachments to other humans, but learn to mimic these to gain social acceptance. Meantime they are plotting to gain their own ends through people.

I think its the lust of the world and what is has to offer, the sex, drugs and rock and roll mentality. The more we do these things the easier it is to say we don't need God we are having fun, I mean sin is fun for a season but there is always a pay day isn't there. It maybe the next day or 20 years later but there will be a pay day. Lust and pride, the worlds favorite toys, draws us in and we can't feel the pull of Jesus on our hearts anymore because we have resisted it so long and still survived. Its not long till we think we don't need a God telling us what to do. But as I said before, Sin has its season, and every season changes and a new one comes in. And thats when the good Lord reaches down and gets our attention!!!

nature has nothing to do with it...hard hearts are a learned and shared thing.. subject to other humans with hard hearts. ever see young children play? they dont see color or hatred they are full of joy..who takes that away?

Are you referring to Yaweh hardening the heart of the Pharoah in Exodus so he would not let the Isrelaites leave, and Yaweh could bring some nasty plagues onto the Pharoahs people?
