How long after death do you believe that it takes before we are put into a new body? Do you believe that we will come back in human form or as some other type of being?

The teaching is that the time is not established. The time is determined by how much good or bad must be experienced due to the prior life. After all the Good or bad has been experienced then the spirit makes its entrance back into this world. The teaching is also that what is most predominate in the thought during the death determines what form comes next.

I believe in reincarnation. I'm not a Hindu.
From some documentaries which I've watched on the possibilities of reincarnations of those who are reborn in another foreign country or/and of another different ethnicity,I believe the period of reincarnation can stretch up to 20 years or so.
Reincarnation of human form sounds believable to me. For other types of beings such as animals, I have some reservations as there is no such cases being brought to attention and thwe fact that it's impossible to apply scientific exploration and research on it.

The idea behind reincarnating is to learn. We can learn only through the exercise of free will. When we return to "life" is entirely up to the individual. All life has one and the same eternal energy source. There is no "special" source for human life; people are animals too. We only think we're special. A person could return as another kind of animal if he wishes, but very few people would choose to.

I believe we do not ever cross species.
I also believe that it is usually many human years before we return. When and where we return is our decision, in my opinion.

I believe it's possible to come back as almost anything alive.

i cant believe some people actually believe this. we only have our one soul for this one body. we dont get second chances in life to beable to do it over. that is rediculous.
